My Assistant – Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the My Assistant Android app (package com.shivanchal.assistant), published by Shivanchal Charging Station ("we", "us"), handles your information. In short: the app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we do not run any server that receives your data.

Data stored on your device

• Chats and searches: your conversation and search history (including source links) is saved only in the app's private storage on your phone.
• Memory: facts you save (on the Memory screen or by writing "remember …" in chat) are stored only on your phone.
• Reminders: reminder text and times are stored only on your phone and are used to show notifications.
• API keys and settings: the API keys you enter are stored encrypted on your device using Android Keystore-backed encryption. Your provider and model choices are stored in the app's private settings.

App backup is turned off, so this data is not copied to cloud backups by the app. We cannot see or access any of it.

Data sent to AI providers

When you send a message, the app sends it directly from your phone to the AI provider you choose in Settings, together with recent messages from that chat, your saved memory facts (as part of the instructions to the assistant) and your own API key. Nothing passes through our servers. The provider processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy:

• OpenRouter: OpenRouter Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. OpenRouter forwards requests to the model provider you select, which may have its own policies.

Search mode: when you use Search, your question, recent messages from that search thread and your saved memory facts are sent to Google's Gemini API with "Grounding with Google Search" enabled. Google may run web searches based on your question to build the answer; this is covered by the Google terms and privacy policy linked above. Search always uses Google Gemini, never OpenRouter. Tapping a source opens that web page in your browser, where the website's own privacy policy applies.

Free tiers of some providers may use submitted content to improve their services. Please review their policies and avoid sending sensitive information you do not want shared with them.

What we do not do

• No user accounts or sign-in.
• No advertising and no advertising IDs.
• No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we do not collect it at all.

Permissions

• Internet: to send your messages to the AI provider you choose.
• Notifications (asked on Android 13 and later): to show reminders you set. You can deny it, but reminders will then be silent.
• Alarms & reminders / run at startup: to fire reminders on time and restore them after the phone restarts.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual chats, memory facts and reminders inside the app. To delete everything, go to Android Settings → Apps → My Assistant → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. To remove data held by an AI provider, or to revoke your API key, use that provider's own account settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Voice booking assistant on shivanchal.com

The website (not the Android app) has an optional voice booking assistant. When you use it:

• Your voice is processed by your browser's or device's built-in speech service (for example, Chrome may send audio to Google's speech service to convert it to text). Spoken replies are generated by your device.
• Nothing is stored by our website: no recordings, transcripts or booking details are saved or sent to our servers. Closing or reloading the page clears the conversation.
• Your booking is sent to us only when you tap Send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that message.

You can also type instead of speaking, or simply call or WhatsApp us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
